Pisac Pouch Small | Frazada 04
This listing is for a one of a kind pouch made from a hand woven Peruvian 'frazada' or blanket. Each textile was woven by hand on a back strap loom by rural weavers in The Sacred Valley near Cusco, Peru. Made from 90% sheep's wool and 10% alpaca blend, the wool is shorn from local animals and all of the dyes used are extracted sustainably from local bugs and plants. We picked each piece by hand in the markets in Cusco and worked in partnership with a local artist to sew each individual bag for this very limited collection of handmade goods from Peru. Measures 8" across x 6" in height.
